It is truly an honor to serve as the club’s president in 2013. We are a diverse group of individuals from all walks of life. However, each of us believes that the price of freedom is eternal vigilance. Liberty demands individual responsibility. The government that governs best governs the LEAST. Freedom and opportunity have made America exceptional.
Under Team Obama & congressional Democrats, our country has experienced crippling regulations and maniacal spending. We have the opportunity to re-take our nation and re-store the constitutional principles upon Which the United States was founded. I am asking each of you to not merely get involved, but to be committed. The difference between involved and committed is like ham & eggs — the chicken is involved; the pig is committed.
As Benjamin Franklin said, “Energy and persistence alter all things.” It is the unbridled enthusiasm of our club’s members that truly makes a difference.
